When a prospective customer walks into your building the first thing they will see and feel is your floor. A well maintained floor improves your appearance and the overall impression of your facility while at the same time increasing the safety of your facility. A dirty floor is a safety hazard as dirt and oils turn a hard surface floor into a slippery surface.
At ServiceMaster of Kalamazoo we can help improve your image and the safety of your building by applying our experience and professional techniques to your floor care needs.
That is not a knock on our competition, it is just the truth. While many of our competitors use a one step carpet cleaning system, ServiceMaster of Kalamazoo will take the extra time to do a two step carpet cleaning process. What this means for you is a cleaner carpet that stays cleaner longer, thus increasing the distance that your cleaning budget will go.
In a one step cleaning system (what many of our competitors use) the cleaning agent is mixed with water, sprayed on the carpet, and extracted all in one step. This leaves much of the cleaning agent on the carpet and also does not allow for the cleaning agent to break down the dirt properly, thus leaving dirt and chemical in your carpet fibers. These leftovers will cause carpets to age prematurely and soil quicker.
ServiceMaster has chosen and developed a two step cleaning method where the cleaning agent and water is mixed and sprayed down on your carpet. It is then allowed to sit for about ten minutes so that the soil and dirt can be broken down. We then come back and do a clean water extraction. It is this second step, using clean, softened, hot water, that allows for a cleaner carpet. With our two step system very little of the cleaning agent is left in the carpet fibers and more of the dirt is drawn out, unlike in a one step extraction where much of the detergent is left in your carpet. This difference increases the effectiveness of your cleaning budget allowing you to put more money elsewhere.
