9 Basic Steps on Performing CPR
- Check Responsiveness
- Call 911 Immediately
- Find the Right Area
- *Interlock Hands
- Be Directly Over Top of Them
- Elbows Tight
- Push Straight Down
- 30 Pumps to the Beat
- If able, 2 Breaths Every 30 pumps
*although interlocking hands isn’t critical, it helps stabilize hands in the appropriate position.
