A big thank you to everyone involved in our efforts and community events these past couple months. We have been very busy, as you probably are to, and we want to share a few things that (1) you may have been a part of or (2) may find helpful.
Hoarding In the News

Serving the Community: Cleaning after Sewer Damage
Kalamazoo residents were cleaning up sewage after a water main broke, and our disaster restoration team arrived at the scene quickly.
Sewage cleanup in a home/basement is not an easy, or safe job, for someone untrained to clean themselves. Extracting all water, getting rid of all possible bacteria and moisture is not possible with household items such as a shop-vac. Health issues can result in improper cleaning in sewage situations. It’s in your best interest to call the trained professionals.

Prepare your House for Winter
Disaster Restoration Operations Manager, Thad Bishop, is featured in a news headline: “Things to do outside of the home to get ready for winter”.
Preparing for winter doesn’t have to be costly. Clearing gutters and keeping debris away from around the outside of your house is extremely helpful.
