How this works –
If you have a popup that either contains a form or directs people to an action that ultimately is meant to end with a form submission, you probably don’t want them to see that form again. This particular item is used so that they don’t see the popup again for a year.
To make it work, in the Gravity Forms Popup Maker section, set this popup to “open popup.”
When you make your form on the page, you have to enable ajax form submissions and it has to show the success on the page, not redirect to a thank you page. If you want to complete an action and disable a popup with a thank you page, contact Jeff to help set up that workflow.
Finally, to set this cookie detection, on the popup you wish to prevent after the action has been taken, in the targeting section, selection “cookie exists” turn it to the opposite, and use the name set on the cookie below “one-year” – See the survey popups for an example.
